Customer Updates

From 1st May 2008, the following price changes will come into effect:

Calls to numbers beginning with 03 will now cost the same as calling 01 & 02 numbers. They will become part of any inclusive calls that your tariff may have. If the call is not inclusive, you will pay your usual "National" rate for these calls. This will affect all Pipex Homecall residential tariffs. 03 numbers are used by organisations and are part of the replacement for 0845 and 0870 numbers.

All "Everytime" tariff customers will now automatically enjoy free weekend calls for up to 90 mins per call to all UK numbers beginning 01, 02 and 03..

The Daytime rate to UK local and national numbers (01, 02 and 03 numbers) will be 4p per minute. This will affect the "Everytime" and "Hometime" tariffs only.

The Evening rate to UK local and national numbers (01, 02 and 03 numbers) will be charged at 1.5p per minute instead of 4.5p for up to 90 minutes. A 6p call connection fee will also apply. This will only affect the "Everytime" tariff.

When calling 0845 and 0870 numbers there will be just two timebands: Daytime and Evening, seven days a week. This will affect the "Everytime", "Hometime" and "Anytime" tariffs.

Inclusive UK calls (01, 02 and 03 numbers) will continue to be free for up to 90 minutes. After 90 minutes, calls will be charged at 4p per minute during the Daytime, or 1.5p per minute during the Evening and Weekend timebands. We recommend customers hang up and redial before 90 minutes to avoid incurring a per minute charge. This will affect the "Everytime", "Hometime" and "Anytime" tariffs.

All chargeable calls will now be rounded up to the next minute.

Due to cost increases in calling the '3' mobile network in the UK, standard rates to this network have increased to 18.5p (Daytime) and 13.5p (Evening). This will affect the "Everytime", "Hometime" and "Anytime" tariffs. Customers with our Mobile Option will still continue to enjoy the normal 25% savings on these rates.
